My Work Halloween Party

We had the Halloween party at my job today. Not sure why we had it on a Wednesday, but I'm not in charge of those decisions. lol

I had a really good time. I didn't win any awards this year, but I got paid for over two hours to eat popcorn and drink cider. Here's some of my photos.

I'm dressed up as a tacky tourist.

The winners!

Rock 'n roll all nite...

Found a bunch of Waldos.

Also found a Venonat.

Dancing to Thriller.

There was a murder!

She did it.

Halloween Through The Years With Ann

I met Ann last year at a Halloween party given by one of my wife's friends. Ann is a huge fan of horror movies and everything Halloween. Plus, she really puts a lot of thought into her Halloween costume each year. She graciously let me share some of her Halloween photos. She also runs a Facebook group called You know you love Hallowe'en if... Check it out.

1980. She is the maid in the middle.

1992 Gypsy

2007? Emma Peel from The Avengers

2008 Go-Go Girl

2009 Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's

2010 Gypsy

2011 Milla Jovovich from Resident Evil

2012 Vampire

2013 Princess Anna from Van Helsing

2014 Carrie

2015 Wednesday Addams
I can't wait to see her costume this year. The only hint she has given is it involves a lot of blood!

The Quarter Box (Halloween Edition)

Here's the monster books I've recently bought out of my local comic book stores quarter box. They're not in the best of shape, but they are fun!

My Halloween Tree

Sorry I'm really late with this post today. I've been busy. :)

Here's a few photos of my Halloween tree that I first put up last year. I bought some new ornaments and garland this year. My favorite new ornament is the blown glass devil head I bought earlier this year while on vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains. They had a Christmas store that had a small section with Halloween ornaments. It was really cool.

Mirror Grabbers

I found these at a local discount store. Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street Mirror Grabbers made by Rubies. They are vinyl clings that you stick on your mirror. I paid $1.87 each for them.

Monsterfestmania Review

Back on July 30 I went to the first annual Monsterfestmania classic sci-fi and horror convention in Akron, Ohio. The show was put on by the same people that run the Akron Comicon. I had a really good time and look forward to next year's show.

You can find out more about Monsterfestmania at these sites:

Facebook Page
Facebook Group

Here's some of my photos from the show:

I met actor Felix Silla. He was Cousin Itt on The Addams Family, Twiki on Buck Rogers and an Ewok in Return of the Jedi among many other roles.

I also met some local horror hosts.

Dale Kay from Eerie House

The Son of Ghoul

Janet Decay from The Mummy and the Monkey

Vilessence Vile. He's not a horror host, but he's cool.

The Green Goblin head from Maximum Overdrive.

The local CW channel was there. Spin the wheel and win a prize! I won a deck of  "The King of Queens" playing cards. :)

Local cosplay group Rubber City Cosplay

Horror cosplayers.

The winners of the costume contest.

Even the cars were dressed up.
Here's some cool stuff I saw that I didn't buy:

Here's what I did buy. Weird that I didn't buy anything horror related.

Pokémon GO Team Valor (red) sticker.

I got a really good deal on some Funko Pop!s.

Incredible Hulk button.
